The partially translated English interface version of the program is the same installation file as the Chinese version.
You download the Hipihi installation file from http://www.hipihi.com/download.html and install it, as described elsewhere.
In order to see the partial English translation you have to edit a text file as follows:
In the Hipihi program folders, there will be a folder called UIData/Localsettings .
Using a text editor such as notepad, edit the XML file "LocalSetting.xml"
Change the line
<LocalSetting>0</LocalSetting>
to
<LocalSetting>1</LocalSetting>
If it says
<LocalSetting>-1</LocalSetting>
then you still change it to
<LocalSetting>1</LocalSetting>
The rest of the installation process - the need to install the East Asian language pack, set region and locale language settings, and turn off the advanced text services for the Hipihi shortcut, remain the same.
